About ernie

Ernie is a Singapore-based music composer and sound designer for media such as films, series, randed content, exhibitions, and corporate storytelling.

In 2024, Ernie co-founded 1M1 Studios with Robbie Say, a service dedicated to delivering end-to-end music production and audio post services while partnering with agencies and production houses across Asia-Pacific.

Aside from serving as the Assistant Music Director for Chingay Parade Singapore 2024 “Blossom”, he has also had the opportunity to be part of noteworthy productions - Sandcastles (2024) (directed by Carin Leong) which premiered in mega arts-fest SXSW, Singapore-Taiwan co-production Deep End (2023)(directed by K Rajagopal and Yeo Siew Hua) and Andre and His Olive Tree (2020)(directed by Josiah Ng) to name a few.

Being versed in the fields of music composition and sound design puts Ernie in a unique position - he is able to create soundscapes blending both elements seamlessly while also being able to wear different hats when necessary.

Ernie strives to continually help paint stories and pushed narratives further with music composition and sound design, and his dedication has been entrusted by heavyweights such as Google and CJ Entertainment to name a few.

Ernie is also a Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) alumnus and is interested in various art forms such as sewing, painting, animation and sculptures.
